Summer Discovery Days: Rockin' the River | Weekend 2

The Fraser River is more than just water—it’s a storyteller carving canyons, stacking layers, and revealing Earth’s deep secrets. Join us as kids become junior geologists—exploring erosion with a stream table and observing a sediment jar to see layers form.

We’ll also enjoy a storytime, zoom in on minerals with a real microscope, dig for hidden specimens, and play a rock cycle card game that turns science into play. Join us to discover how the river has shaped the land—and how geology helps tell its story!
